They are small taste great and really cheap to buy
Wow
Yes . But very good
Still would eat from here
I believe they do, like fish patties but i wouldn't eat a fish sandwich from them, not saying they are dirty just that it's a burger joint all their grills are going to contaminate your fish with beef bacteria. Just a thought.
Salt
No
it's ok, I think expensive for the amount of food you get
Had a chance to visit today, Tried a Special which included 3 Burgers Fries and a drink for 8 Bucks, Totally a bargain atmosphere is that of a very old establishment that takes pride in what they are serving to you food and service was amazing and they are literally cooking the burger on the grill right in front of you this place was simply Plain and simple but delicious next time I'm in Jersey City I will be returning for Round2
As the name implies, this is food from the heavens. Food is always made fresh in front of you when you order. My Friday nights start here with a dozen sliders, cross the highway for some drinks at the Ringside Lounge and then a little fun at the Roadway in. White Mana keeps it simple with their menu and lets the quality of their food speak for itself!
the burger was so amazing
Every time I go here that guys on the grill are chill and serve your food super fast. Cash Only.
Awesomely affordable, historical, convenient and delicious!
Old school feel with great food & great service! One of my favorites burger spots to hit especially late night! Waffles fries with cheese is to die for might I add.
I don't know what is the obssession with this place. Yeah it's been there for years. They are famous for burgers apparently. I got to say they were not so great. They were more like homemade white castles. Not very tasty and not grilled right in my opinion. Don't waste your time here. And definitely don't bring family. We'll at least not the wife. It's more like a trucker place.
awesome food great service the original from the worlds fair
think white castle. but better. everything tasted pretty damn good — sliders, fries and mozzarella sticks. nice people, too.
No frills burger joint, love this spot!
Amazing place if you love white Castle I suggest going here my buddy I work with bought me 2 burgers and when I tell you that I will never return to white castle again.. white manas burgers are amazing and flavorful and don't destroy your stomach after eating them like white caskets murder burgers
Amazing amazing amazing food hot dogs cheeseburgers homemade have to come here worth the drive.
Ancient diner-like restaurant that is famous for it's small burgers. Think White Castle, but good! Counter seating and cash only, but a classic place!
NJ's answer to the South's beloved Kristal
How can you not love this place...lol hamburgers are so good but u do smell like onions when you leave. Not the original but tastes great.
This is a famous place burgers are like homemade white castle burgers
Good, quick and inexpensive burgers and the service was great. Great place to go if you're a history buff. The building was originally at the 1939 NY World's Fair and was moved to NJ.
They have the best hamburgers in town!!!
Good burger. Fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Also the soda lines need to be cleaned out.
I celebrated my PhD last night in this delicious restaurant. I am glad to say that we enjoyed a enjoyable evening and the restaurant was no doubt one of the reasons for that outstanding event. The waiters cooperated in a pleasant manner, the food was extremely good and my guests were very happy. We shall surely visit again for more events. thanks very much.
The best glider cheeseburgers around! 3 Cheeseburgers, fries and a drink for $8 I find a little expensive for the size of the meal but they make up on the quality of the food. I eat here every time I’m around the vicinity
Perfect for reliable quick easy delicious bites. You see the grill, you know the freshness. Love the history of its involvement at the world’s fair
UPDATE 6/18/18: Double 1/4 lb. burger was TERRIFIC, substantial, fresh and fabulous. Next time, I'll try three patties - why not?Love this place, even though I'm not a sliders kind of guy. Only regret was not asking the cook to add two extra patties to this 1/4 lb. burger to get it to the heft I'm accustomed to ... and, add copious amounts of bacon ... but it was alright! Love the history, the ambiance, the service ... location is a bit of a PITA at rush hour, though, as Tonelle Avenue is a divided highway and the area is saturated with cars (there are only two ways to exit the lot and getting where you need to go is tough unless the kindness of strangers comes into play - there was none to be had for me last night!) Definitely worth the stop, either way!
Been going there for over 16yrs. Always ready for your order. Food amazing..
Not as good as it was 20 years ago. Burgers were red in the middle. Soda was flat.
So much history, and the sliders are pretty good too.
Love their sliced steak sandwiches it's a make me happy meal.
This place is not the same. Pricey. It's like having bad White Castles. Really run down place. It's a good place to go when you'r really drunk. The grill looks like something from 1965. Although there is a lot of parking. Must be new owners. Won't be returning.
A Jersey classic. I had a hangover and went here on Sunday morning for the cure. Mission accomplished. A couple of sliders with some fries and it was good as I remember. I usually hit the Hackensack location but this was just as good if not better. If you need sliders this is the spot.
Food is delicious and great priced. Cool atmosphere and it's a legendary place.
Pros: good foodDelicious fries and seasoned friesAwesome original diner from the 1939 worlds fairSuper cheap prices, only $1.30 for a burger!Free and ample parkingLots of seating insideFriendly chef & hostNice menu optionsCons:Mens restroom was disgusting, no door locks, no privacy, no soap, and very dirty. They really need to fix up the mens restroom.
Classic tasty burger...made in seconds. Add cheap price and It's a spot to frequent
This place was great. Best burger in the country
The burgers are ok the only good thing is it's open all day and night
Not the same as 50 years ago they are playing Spanish music on the I just don't understand Spanish I seen The Manor in the 1960s worlds fair
If You Have Never Been Here, I Implore You To Stop In And See For Yourself What All The Hyoe Is About. There's Nothing Like A White Mana Burger!!!
Great classic NJ burger joint. Cheap prices and great food.
The real deal! Great burger! Pride of ownership and a piece of NJ history!
Straightforward. Good food at insanely good prices. Staff is caring about their diner and their residents. Great for a quick bite at any time
This place is known to be a local legendary diner. I've seen the great Muhammad Ali and Iron Mike Tyson eating there! Those burgers are to die for, I highly recommend.
Just has the best Burgers in town what more would you want
I go to Jersey City now and then so I've been driving past this place for over 30 years, always thinking I should stop and see what's up, and tonight I said what the hell, and did.The history, atmosphere, and the place's unique architecture are the story to me. Plus edible eats at bygone prices. The building, with its cozy circular counter dates to the NY World's Fair of 1939, and it's been run by only two families ever since, for about 40 years each, and they definitely show pride of ownership in how they run and talk about their place. The burgers recall White Castle, except without the holes and at least double the thickness.Nothing's gussied up or gourmet, so do accept it on its own period terms. I did, and I'll be back. It's really iconic, and I hope it's there for another 40 years and more.
The burgers was decent for the price the buns were too doughie had to chew too much and the onion rings were probably jus taken out of the freezer and dropped in the oil it was like onion mush with breading around it but over all the burgers were good for the price
Burgers at it's best. For now, take out with burgers that are made in it's original formulation from 1946 still in the same modest location and small facade with ample parking space. Buns, burgers patties all made in house for the best tasting fresh made burgers cooked right in front of you.
Clean and friendly. Great deal on 2 burgers drys and a soda. Just must see it.
Love this place. As someone who worked in the business I can't stand that nobody there can work the grill. A line out the door and the grill man asks the first 4 people on line how many burgers, this leaves 2 feet of grill space. Fill up the grill. You sell burgers. The people waiting on line want burgers. They'll move.
I went here when I was little a got a real cheese steak on a sub roll. It was the best. But I just went here today and we ordered cheesesteaks.. the guy got an attitude when I asked for a different type of cheese- they only have American. Well excuse me you can tell me in a polite manner.. also our cheesteaks were served on WHITE WONDER BREAD. What kind of cheesteaks is that? We were very disappointed to say the least.. must be new owner because years ago they used to make legit food.. also we paid 25 dollars for two tiny sandwiches and mozzarella sticks we could've made ourselves for 1.50.. enjoy..
Open 24 hours, this uniquely designed building on a busy corner in New Jersey serves up sliders of all types. We went with the $7 special with 3 sliders, fries, and a drink. Famous patrons include Mike Tyson...which by coincidence you can also see where he keeps his pigeons a couple houses down from restaurant.
always consistent. plenty of parking. great sliders, recommend upgrade to waffle fries
